Washington, (ANI): Kate Hudson is spicing up her fledgling relationship with Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez by making sexy late-night phone calls, it has emerged. The Bride Wars actress and the sportstar, who was earlier linked to Madonna, were recently spotted kissing at New York's Mustang Grill restaurant, reports Contactmusic.

New York Daily News newspaper reports: "Although Hudson is currently filming in Oklahoma, she and A-Rod keep their new love alive with sexy late-night phone calls." Kate, 30 - who raises son Ryder, five, with her ex-husband Chris Robinson - was recently linked to her on/off ex-boyfriend Owen Wilson.

Friends of Kate and Alex insist they are smitten with each other. One pal said: "When she hits Yankee Stadium, she sits in A-Rod''s private seats. They''re giddy when they''re together."
