Katie Price brings down I'm A Celebrity ratings

It was reported earlier that former glamour model Jordan a.k.a Katie Price had quit the jungle reality show 'I"m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here'. But her sudden departure from the show has drastically brought down it ratings. The glamour girl's arrival on the show had been attracting audiences of close to ten million with viewers, reports Daily Mail.

Jordan was reportedly on the show to get back her fame that she had lost after her split from singer Peter Andre earlier this year. But her fate took its toll again on her and she faced a public backlash and was voted on to almost every trial since she arrived forcing her to face her fear of enclosed spaces and being underwater, reports the Daily Mail.

According to the Daily Mail, nearly 9.5 million viewers watched Katie's exit interview on Saturday and Monday. But on Tuesday night"s episode just 7.8 million people were tuning in – a slump of around 20 per cent. Sources claim that Katie Price"s repeated trials drama might have distracted viewers from the fact that the rest of the contestants apart from Samantha Fox, Joe Bugner and George Hamilton are relatively unknown.
