Elle comes to Lindsay Lohan's rescue

New York, (ANI): Elle Magazine bosses aren't holding actress Lindsay Lohan responsible for 500,000-dollar jewellery theft. The Mean Girls star had to be quizzed by cops after 500,000 dollars worth of Dior jewellery she wore during a photo shoot went missing on June 6.

"Elle has no reason to believe that Lindsay Lohan was in any way responsible and has no further comment to make," the New York Daily News quoted a spokesperson for Elle magazine as saying.

The starlet is herself infuriated at being blamed for the theft. "Lindsay thinks it's a ridiculous story and is happy that Elle is standing behind her but she's really sick of getting blamed for everything bad that happens," said a pal.
