Mills opens her vegan cafe climbing onto its roof

Washington (ANI): Sir Paul McCartney's ex-wife Heather Mills is certainly going great heights to make sure that people come to her new vegan cafe. Mills actually climbed up a ladder and got on to the roof of her new restaurant, V-Bites, on the occasion of its grand opening on July 4.

The animal rights campaigner, who wears a prosthetic leg after losing her limb in a 1993 motorcycle accident, stunned onlookers as she climbed onto the roof of her cafe in East Sussex, England. Wearing a white chef's apron, Mills stood at the very edge of the rooftop without a harness, grasping onto the eaterie's neon sign to keep her balance.

"My vision was to create a place for all the community to enjoy. I am very excited about the future and look forward to inviting everybody to Hove Lagoon (Sussex, England) this summer," Contactmusic quoted the former model as telling visitors.

Mills was at the centre of locals" fury when she bought the popular Big Fish cafe in March this year, and announced plans to reform its menu by removing fish.
