A representative for the actress confirmed that Nagra, 33, who plays Neela Rasgotra on NBC's medical drama ER, wed Stenson, 34, wed her beau of seven years in Hollywood in a traditional Sikh ceremony. Nagra told People in 2007 that she met Stenson "on a couple of jobs I did before I came out [to the U.S.]."
The actress, who was born and raised in Leicester, announced in December that she and Stenson were expecting their first child together this summer. ER executive producer John Wells, this week told reporters at a press conference that the star's pregnancy will actually be incorporated into some of the final episodes of the show which bows out this year after its fifteenth season.
"We were trying to juggle how that was going to work because she is starting to show. And what seemed sort of tragic at first - when we talked about it - there was a tremendous feeling of, ''Oh, there's this one [story] that we haven''t done,'' so it's actually very exciting," People quoted him, as saying.
