revealed
that
he
is
battling
prostate
cancer.
David,
who
thrilled
fans
with
his
terrific
portrayal
of
the
villain
Darth
Vader
in
the
Star
Wars
trilogy,
has
been
undergoing
radiotherapy
for
nearly
two
months.
He
has
hinted
that
his
disease
has
been
detected
at
an
early
stage,
and
the
doctors
are
talking
'fantastic'
care
of
him.
“It's
amazing
what
can
be
done
if
you
catch
it
early," the
Sun
quoted
him
as
telling
a
radio
talk
show.
David
also
urged
all
men
over
the
age
of
50
to
get
a
blood
test
to
check
for
prostate
cancer.
