Reinhardt confesses being dumped by Paris Hilton

London (ANI): Paris Hilton's newly dumped beau Doug Reinhardt has finally confessed that the hotel heiress walked out on him. The baseball player"s confession of the break-up comes two days after the socialite announced their split to the press.

On Tuesday, the multimillionaire party-girl issued a statement via her publicist that her six-month romance with Reinhardt was over. Reinhardt was surprised when the news was broken to him.

"No, that's not true. Everything is OK between us," the Daily star quoted him as telling E! News. And now that he is coming to terms with the failed romance, he has insisted that he will not be taking swipes at Hilton in the press, because he doesn"t want to be the part of the 'media circus' their split has become, reports TMZ.com.

A statement released by his representative on Thursday said: "Doug refuses to take part in this ridiculous media circus. He wishes Paris and all of her future boyfriends the best of luck."

Meanwhile, Hilton has apparently moved on from the relationship, as she was spotted getting close to soccer stud Cristiano Ronaldo at a Hollywood club on Wednesday.
