Washington
(ANI):
Disney
bosses
behind
actress
Miley
Cyrus'
hit
show
Hannah
Montana,
have
been
sued
by
a
screenwriter
over
the
script
used.
Richard
Fronduto
filed
a
lawsuit
at
Los
Angeles
County
Superior
Court
on
January
28,
claiming
that
the
teen
series
was
based
on
a
script
he
had
written
in
1990.
Fronduto
claimed
that
he
penned
the
idea
for
a
show
called
'The
Secret
Life
of
Sindi',
which
eventually
became
'The
Family
Business'.
He
said
that
he
had
pitched
the
script
to
Disney
executives,
who
asked
him
to
turn
it
into
a
two-hour
pilot
episode,
reports
Contactmusic.
According
to
him,
there
are
numerous
similarities
between
his
discarded
pilot
episode
and
the
Hannah
Montana
show,
with
both
featuring
a
teenage
girl
who
leads
a
double
life
as
an
ordinary
teen
and
successful
pop
star.
And
he
is
asking
for
a
'Created
by'
credit
on
all
future
publications
and
broadcasts
of
Hannah
Montana,
as
well
as
damages.
