Russell Brand is in love with Katy Perry

London (ANI): Comedian Russell Brand is finally in love, at least that's what he says.Brand is totally smitten with I Kissed A Girl singer Katy Perry, and says she is 'the one'. The Sun quoted Brand as saying: "I think I'm in love."

An insider said: "Russell has fancied Katy for ages and was like an excited schoolboy after they got together. He really sees her as an ideal catch and is prepared to stop seeing other girls. He doesn't want to talk about it yet as he doesn't want to blow his chances."

The newfound love between Russell and Perry blossomed after the couple's rendezvous at the MTV Video Music Awards last month. The 34-year-old Brand expressed his feelings in rhyme following the pair's reported snog at the MTV VMA.

Brand was amazed when the 24-year-old lass replied with a snap of her bust with the words "poem" written across it. He then lost no time in asking Perry out for a romantic holiday in Thailand. And Perry was all game for the trip. After her return from Thailand, she posted a message on her Twitter page saying her vacation was "magical".

A source said: "She knows about Russell's reputation but finds him really charming and funny. She's keen to make a go of it."
