A day after Miss Universe for Stefania Fernandez

Miss Universe 2009 Stefania Fernandez on Cloud 9 and why not she is the most beautiful women in the world. What the world is not aware is that the Venezuelan beauty had finished last in one of her first beauty pageants. A day after the beauty pageant began with a host of interviews for 18-year-old girl who is of Russian, Ukrainian, Galician and Polish origin said she continued competing even though she had a 'not so perfect start'.

Being candid Stefania revealed that she had entered the world for fashion and modelling by chance and this life kept on rewarding her at every step. She revealed that had leave her home town of Merida and move to the city of San Cristobal to pursue her modelling career. She added all her hard work had paid off when she was crowned the new Miss Universe yesterday. Her win meant Venezuela became only the second country after Finland to claim the title two years in a row.

Stefania Fernandez is upset about the fact that Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez did not congratulate her as other leaders have done with winners from other countries as a part of the socialist leader's policies. Diplomatically he said that things are improving bit by bit in Venezuela and it was everybody's job to make their country better by trying to communicate with each other.

On her future programmes Fernandez said she will be spending the next year travelling the world to work for the causes such as AIDS awareness as an ambassador for the pageant. She also plans to enrol in a college thereafter and specialise in communication.
