"It goes far beyond being a concert movie. Kenny Ortega created a film that is compelling and exciting and an incredible tribute to the King of Pop," Bruer added.
The documentary features behind the scenes footage of the late singer as he rehearsed for his sold-out comeback concerts in London before his sudden death on June 25. The two-hour movie, which is being hyped as the last-ever performance by the star, was rolled out for 18 simultaneous premieres in five continents.
