By Sampurn Wire

Hollywood star angelina jolie had to pack up her schedule before completing her directorial venture, a Bosnian film, which is reportedly about a Muslim Bosnian woman and a Serbian man, which commences just a day before the Serbian war. The backdrop of the movie is the war between 1992 to 1995 in those areas.

However, as news about her movie spread there was word going around that it was based on a love story between a soldier and the girl, he had raped. This has annoyed certain woman"s groups, who protested against the storyline. They have been told that the film revolves around an inter ethnic rape scene. After the protests were voiced, the permission granted to the film"s crew for shooting in Bosnia stands was cancelled till further notice.

According to reports, they protested as it would distort the facts and would give the entire truth a veil of romanticism, which was the last thing that the victims had thought of after being so cruelly treated. Thus after the protests, Angelina and her crew are planning to shift base.

However, the next leg of shooting which was to be held in Serbia has been called off as of now. Angelina has written to the protesting groups to allow her to prove herself and show that the film has nothing to do with what they have thought it showcases.

The untitled Bosnian film has the local Bosnian stars in the cast and it involved a ten-day shooting stint in Bosnia, which remains incomplete due to these sudden turn of events.
