James Cameron to front green campaign

London (ANI): Director James Cameron is set to do his bit in helping preserve the planet with his involvement at the upcoming environmental conference in Brazil. The Avatar filmmaker, who touched on the subject of deforestation in the acclaimed blockbuster, will appear as a guest speaker at the event to be held between March 26-27.

He is due to make an address at the International Sustainability Forum in northern Manaus, the Daily Express reported. The Oscar-nominated star will join former U.S. Vice President Al Gore, who has headlined a global warming awareness programme over the last few years.

Gore, a politician-turned-activist, won the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize.
