Director
James
Cameron
is
set
to
do
his
bit
in
helping
preserve
the
planet
with
his
involvement
at
the
upcoming
environmental
conference
in
Brazil.
The
Avatar
filmmaker,
who
touched
on
the
subject
of
deforestation
in
the
acclaimed
blockbuster,
will
appear
as
a
guest
speaker
at
the
event
to
be
held
between
March
26-27.
He
is
due
to
make
an
address
at
the
International
Sustainability
Forum
in
northern
Manaus,
the
Daily
Express
reported.
The
Oscar-nominated
star
will
join
former
U.S.
Vice
President
Al
Gore,
who
has
headlined
a
global
warming
awareness
programme
over
the
last
few
years.
Gore,
a
politician-turned-activist,
won
the
2007
Nobel
Peace
Prize.
