refuted
rumours
of
starring
in
the
remake
of
My
Fair
Lady.
Earlier
this
year,
Keira
Knightley
had
withdrawn
from
the
project.
"No
(it's
not
true).
I
would
love
to,
but
I'm
not
signed
on
to
that," the
Daily
Express
quoted
Mulligan
as
saying.
Also,
Natalie
Portman
dismissed
rumours
of
playing
the
part
of
Eliza
Doolittle
as
"not
true."
Audrey
Hepburn
had
made
the
character
popular
with
her
performance
in
the
1964
musical.
