Clint Eastwood voted America's favorite movie star

London (ANI): Clint Eastwood, who has managed to combine acting with Oscar-winning directing stints in the last 10 years, has been named America"s favorite movie star of 2009 in a new poll. Denzel Washington landed the second spot in the annual Harris Poll. Actor Johnny Depp jumped up to the No.2 spot from 8th in 2008, reports the Telegraph. Sandra Bullock came fourth while Tom Hanks rounded off the top five.

Bullock, the Golden Globe and People's Choice winner for her starring role in the movie 'The Blind Side", is being seen as a favourite for her first Oscar in March.
