Jennifer
Grey,
who
is
best
known
for
her
acting
with
Patrick
Swayze
in
Dirty
Dancing,
has
revealed
that
she
did
not
think
that
she
could
win
the
competition
on
the
'Dancing
with
the
Stars'.
In
an
interview
to
TV
Guide,
the
50-year-old
actress
explained
how
much
she
was
surprised
after
she
won
the
11th
season
of
the
TV
dance
show.
Talking
to
TVGuide.com,
Jennifer
Grey
said,
"I
was
really
surprised.
It
means
everything
to
me
because
I
didn't
think
I
could
do
it.
It's
a
very
satisfying
experience." She
added,
"I
had
been
asked
for
nine
years
[to
take
part
in
a
TV
dance
show]
and
I
said
no
out
of
fear.
I
would've
been
robbed
of
this
amazing
experience
had
I
not
said
yes
and
had
the
courage."
However,
the
actress
was
hospitalized
with
a
ruptured
disc
just
a
day
before
her
final
show.
She
was
very
much
scared
that
she
would
not
be
able
to
dance
on
the
final
day
of
the
competition.
But
her
surgeon
Dr.
Robert
Bray
gave
her
steroid
injections,
which
helped
her
deal
with
the
pain.
Finally,
she
managed
to
bag
the
mirrorball
trophy.
