Katie Price suffers 24-hour meltdown

London (ANI): Katie Price a.k.a Jordan, who was spotted without her wedding ring for the first time since she was hitched to Alex Reid, cancelled a top TV job last minute as she suffered a 24-hour meltdown. Pals claim the glamour girl needed time alone for 'personal reasons'.

Jordan, 32, was due to appear at the Edinburgh International Television Festival, where she was to be grilled by Hollywood psychologist Dr Pamela Stephenson. Less than 24 hours before she was due to sit in the hot seat, she pulled out telling TV bosses it was due to 'unforeseen circumstances'.

Instead, she headed out for a pub lunch with Alex, 35, and her three children. One insider said things had reached the 'boiling point' for Katie and she had taken a 24-hour time-out. “Katie is tired and emotional and just desperate for some time alone," the Daily Star quoted a source close to the gobby model as saying.

“It"s not like her to cancel work, but it was something she decided at the last minute. It"s taken everyone by surprise. She has her own secrets. There are few reasons why she would let people down and disappoint fans, and they will either be to do with Alex or the family they"re trying to start," added the source.
