Lindsay to improve Brit prison's condition

London (ANI): Lindsay Lohan is backing a drive that aims to improve the UK"s overcrowded prisons, it has emerged. Lohan, 23, has already declared her support to the Howard League and its Take Action 2010 campaign with the slogan: “Less crime, safer communities, fewer people in prison."

Lindsay has become a part of the crusade after seeing one of her friends spend a disastrous prison term. “She often recalls a tragic incident where three of her friends were killed in an accidental car crash," the Daily Star quoted a pal, as saying. The insider added: “The driver was sent to prison with America"s worst convicts. “It ultimately destroyed him and he was offered no rehabilitation afterwards or during prison to deal with it."
