New
York
(ANI):
Lindsay
Lohan
is
in
talks
to
design
a
handbag
collection
for
Ed
Hardy.
According
to
E!
Online
reports,
the
Mean
Girls
star,
who
was
given
the
boot
from
Emanuel
Ungaro
after
producing
an
unimpressive
collection
for
the
fashion
brand,
will
be
working
for
the
debunked
reality
star's
favourite
clothing
line
Ed
Hardy.
"Lindsay
and
the
design
team
at
Ed
Hardy
have
mutual
friends,
and
they
knew
she
was
interested
in
looking
for
a
handbag
license
and
partner.
They
thought
she'd
be
a
good
fit
and
so
did
she," the
New
York
Daily
News
quoted
a
source
as
saying.
The
23-year-old
actress,
who
currently
has
her
own
line
of
leggings
called
6126,
reportedly
has
three
collections
in
development
with
the
L.A.-based
clothing
company,
with
many
more
expected
in
the
future.
"Lindsay
is
very
directly
involved
with
the
project,
and
she's
always
pulling
things
online
and
from
magazines
for
ideas," added
the
source.
It
will
be
the
first
time
Lindsay
will
be
working
behind
the
scenes
on
handbags
for
a
brand.
She
has
modelled
for
Dooney
&
Bourke
in
2004,
and
again
for
Jill
Stuart
in
2007.
