Mel Gibson to star in The Hangover 2

New York, (ANI): Mel Gibson is trying to rebuild his movie career with a comedy role in upcoming film The Hangover 2. The troubled star, who was dropped by the William Morris Endeavour agency in July, has signed to play a Bangkok tattooist in the highly anticipated comedy.

The actor was facing a tough time after he faced allegations that he assaulted and made threats against his ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva.

"It's a done deal. Mel will make a cameo as a tattoo artist. Filming is taking place on the Warner Bros. lot, where a Bangkok set has been built, and Mel is expected to film his role in two weeks. Then the production moves to Thailand at the end of October," the New York Post quoted a source as saying.
