Washington
(ANI):
Charlie
Sheen"s
wife
Brooke
Mueller
may
have
been
mandated
by
the
California
Department
of
Children
and
Family
Services
(DCFS)
to
check
into
rehab
to
retain
custody
of
her
children,
it
has
emerged.
The
32-year-old
mum
was
recently
reported
to
have
entered
rehabilitation
facility
The
Canyon
in
Malibu
over
alleged
substance
abuse.
But
the
decision
to
do
so
may
not
have
been
her
own
and
DCFS
may
have
ordered
her
to
seek
professional
help
if
she
wished
to
keep
11-month-old
twins
Bob
and
Max
with
her,
insiders
claimed.
"Brooke
would
have
entered
into
a
voluntary
maintenance
contract
which
allows
her
to
keep
her
kids
providing
she
does
XYZ.
The
courts
then
become
involved
if
she
decides
to
violate
that
contract," Fox
News
quoted
a
source
as
telling
Pop
Tarts.
Mueller's
latest
rehab
stint
comes
after
the
couple
got
into
a
heated
fight
in
the
Aspen,
Colorado,
on
Christmas
Day.
Sheen
was
arrested
after
Mueller
called
911
and
claimed
that
he
held
a
knife
to
her
throat
and
threatened
to
kill
her.
The
actor
was
charged
with
domestic
violence.
