Padma Lakshmi unveils her miracle baby Krishna

New York (ANI): An ecstatic Padma Lakshmi, presented to her guests at the benefit for the Endometriosis Foundation of America, her 'miracle" baby named 'Krishna", for the first time. Although she gave birth to her three months ago, she had not made a public appearance with the baby until now.

According to the New York Post, a source said Lakshmi -- who remained on the arm of Teddy Forstmann all night -- "introduced Krishna to some of her closest friends. Everybody was saying she''s every bit as gorgeous as Padma. But she would not allow any pictures of Krishna."

Lakshmi, who suffers from endometriosis, described how, a year ago, "the doctor told me I couldn't get pregnant, and then in difficult circumstances, I did get pregnant." Although the biological father is venture capitalist Adam Dell, Forstmann has been extremely supportive.

"I am lucky to have someone who unwaveringly gave me love," Lakshmi said, "and is also the person that I love. So thank you, Teddy," Rg\\The New York Post quoted Lakshmi as saying.
