Rico Rodriguez had a crush on Sofia Vergara

Washington (ANI): Modern Family star Rico Rodriguez has admitted that he had a crush on actress Sofia Vergara, who plays his on-screen mother.

"At first, I had a little mum crush on her," People magazine quoted the 12-year-old Rodriguez as saying at the Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times Halloween Carnival. "But then I was like, No, because she plays my mum every day. So I said, I'll scrap that idea," he added.

However, Rodriguez acknowledged that his friends have feelings for the actress. "My older friends, like the 15-year-olds, they go, “Yeah, your mom is, you know. I think you know what I mean," he said. I said, “No, I don't know what you mean".
