Russell Crowe to buy Australian ambassador’s home

By Gowrish Babu

Melbourne, (ANI): Russell Crowe might soon finalize a deal to buy the family home of former Australian ambassador to France John Spender and his ex-wife Carla Zampatti.

The two parties, Crowe and Spender, met each other at the Wellington St Woollahra house and it"s the third time the actor is understood to have inspected Headingley House, reports the Daily Telegraph.

Crowe was originally introduced to the property some six months ago but a list of celebrity agents have come and gone, even though the commission on a 20 million pounds-plus sale would be tempting.

Along with others, the Oscar winner also inspected property owned by Lady Sonia McMahon's estate and one eventually purchased by Lachlan and Sarah Murdoch for 23 million dollars.
