Alexandra Burke to star in The Bodyguard!

British R&B and pop singer Alexandra Burke has reportedly been approached to enact an important role in upcoming Hollywood movie The Bodyguard. She has been offered to play the role of a bodyguard in the film.

It is said that the makers of the film want to cast Alexandra Burke in the role of Whitney Houston"s bodyguard in a West End version of The Bodyguard. But the actress is yet to sign on the dotted lines, as she is too busy with her singing assignments.

The Bodyguard is directed by Mick Jackson and it is the stage version of 1992's film of the same name. The project will take-off in 2012.
