Hollywood
project,
which
has
been
titled
Cities.
It
is
a
financial
thriller
and
will
be
directed
by
Roger
Donaldson
and
produced
by
Matthew
Metcalfe
and
Chris
Curling.
The
movie
will
be
launched
at
the
upcoming
Cannes
Film
Market.
Cities
is
described
as
a
cautionary
tale.
Donaldson
has
co-written
the
script
from
an
original
script
titled
'Extreme
Cities',
written
by
Glenn
Wilhide.
The
movie
is
all
about
greed
and
ambition
that
takes
place
on
a
global
scale
in
three
colliding
story
lines
set
in
the
exuberant
months
leading
up
to
the
Dow
Jones
all-time
stock
market
high,
writes
The
Hollywood
Reporter.
Anil
Kapoor
is
said
to
be
playing
a
Mumbai
cop,
who
fights
against
corruption,
while
Clive
Owen
will
reprise
the
role
of
a
New
York-based
hedge
fund
manager,
who
has
everything
he
wants
like
money,
sex
and
power
-
but
he
wants
more.
The
shooting
of
Cities
will
start
in
October
and
the
film
unit
is
expected
to
hold
its
filming
in
London,
Mumbai
and
New
York.
