Batman's new flying vehicle in The Dark Knight Rises

A new picture of the movie of The Dark Knight Rises has unveiled the Batman's new flying vehicle in the film. The Dark Knight Rises is currently being shot in Pittsburgh and the latest photo has been taken on its set. The image features a never-before-seen vehicle, which is a new elaborate version of Batwing.

The rumours about Batman's new vehicle have been doing rounds on the Internet for quite some time. Initially, it was reported that the superhero would fly a plane. Later, a Batcopter was mentioned as his new ride. Some rumours also claimed that the vehicle was built from two attack helicopters in the same design as the Bat Mobile.

But the new image of the film The Dark Knight Rises has put all the speculations to rest. Batman's new flying vehicle is attached to go-kart to make it look like a flying car. It has a design and color in similar vein to a camouflaged Tumbler, which was recently spotted during the filming in the city.

However, actor Christian Bale is playing his role as Bruce Wayne/Batman, while Christopher Nolan directs him in The Dark Knight Rises. It is the sequel of The Dark Knight and is planned for summer 2012 release.
