CBS has topped the TV ratings by scoring 6.8 million viewers and a 4.3 rating/7 share in households for the night. ABC has landed in the second spot with 5.95 million, 3.5/6 and it has beaten out FOX, which got the 4.25 million viewers, 2.7/5. Meanwhile, NBC got 2.15 million viewers and a 1.5/3, which was enough to beat The CW's 1.1 million and 0.8/1.
However, CBS also managed to win the crown of the adults 18-49 crown despite averaging only a 1.9 rating in the demographic. ABC remained in the second position with its 1.7 rating. FOX, NBC and The CW landed in third (1.3), fourth (0.8) and fifth (0.4) respectively.

The 13th edition of Big Brother is back with bang on Thursday. The CBS' summer series has topped the TV ratings with 7.7 million total viewers, 2.7 rating in adults 18-49 demographic improving on last year's premiere. The show was up by about 400,000 viewers.
