Bradley Cooper eyeing Lucifer's role in Paradise Lost

Actor Bradley Cooper has reportedly been vying for an evil role in his next movie. According to sources, the Hollywood star is said to be in negotiations to take the role of Lucifer in the big screen adaptation of the epic 'Paradise Lost', which was written by John Milton in the 17th-century.

Paradise Lost is a story of rebellion and treachery, in which God and Satan fight in a battle over controlling mankind's destiny. The movie will be an action-heavy take on the epic poem centered on the war in heaven between archangels Michael and Lucifer. Ryan Condal, Philip de Blasi, Stuart Hazeldine and Lawrence Kasdan have penned the screenplay for the movie.

Paradise Lost will be directed by Alex Proyas and produced by Legendary Pictures and Warner Bros. Pictures. The movie will include aerial warfare and will likely be shot in 3D. Currently, the production house is looking for actors for the lead roles. If everything goes well, Bradley Cooper is likely to play evil Lucifer in the epic film.
