Actress Adrianne Palicki is set to join the cast of the movie
GI Joe 2: Cobra Strikes. The Friday Night Lights
has reportedly been cast as Lady Jaye, the new female lead in the
second installment of the action adventure film franchise, which is
is due on August 10, 2012. Actor Bruce Willis is also likely to
join the cast ensemble.
Jaye, whose real name is Alison R. Hart-Burnett, is Airborne and
Ranger qualified and an expert with the M-16, M-1911A1 auto pistol
and reflex crossbow. She is also an accomplished actress and can
speak several different languages. Her other talent is
impersonation. The movie bosses think that Adrianne Palicki will be
a perfect suit for the character.
According to sources, Bruce Willis is a top choice for the role
of Joe Colton, the original G.I. Joe, in the movie GI
Joe 2: Cobra Strikes. Sources also claim that Paramount
Pictures has a few other actors' for the lead character in the
sequel. If the deal is sealed, Willis would join the team of
Channing Tatum, Ray Park and Lee Byung-hun.
