Courtney Love, the widow of late Nirvana rocker, Kurt Cobain, finds herself in trouble again, this time in the form of her ex-housemaids. Love was forced to pay a sum of $35,000 (£21,875) to her former housemaids, after they sued her on grounds of the Hole rocker, not paying them their wages over the years.

The two former housemaids took legal action against Love, filing a suit claiming that they had not been paid for several years. This dispute was taken to Beverly Hills Court, California, where the two maids succeeded in winning the case. According to TMZ, Love reportedly paid a sum of $16,632 (£10,395) and $19,137 (£11,196) respectively to her former maids known as Miriam and Myrium.

Love recently had legal problems with her lawyers over her comments on Twitter, resulting in the singer-songwriter being sued by her former lawyers.
