Cowboys and Aliens, The Smurfs tied on top of Box Office

Cowboys and Aliens and The Smurfs are tied for the top position at the US Box Office. According to estimates, both Hollywood movies have grossed $36.2 million each in the opening weekend. The winner will be decided on Monday morning. Another film Crazy, Stupid, Love, which debuted this weekend, has landed at number five.

Cowboys and Aliens, which has been made with a budget of $163 million, was predicted $40 million opening, but the Jon Favreau directed flick has fallen short due to its fierce battle with family movie The Smurfs.
