Actor Daniel Radcliffe has planned to leave the Broadway musical show How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, in which he is playing J. Pierrepont Finch. According to reports, the Harry Potter star will walk out of the show on January 1, when his contract is set to expire. He will be replaced by Glee star Darren Criss.

Earlier, rumours about Daniel Radcliffe's replacement were making rounds on Internet. On Monday, the organizers have confirmed the rumors that Darren Criss will take the lead role of J. Pierrepont Finch in the musical, playing at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre. Radcliffe is scheduled to leave the show January 1 and Darren Criss will step in for three weeks from Jan. 3 to 22.

However, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying is based on a satirical self-help book. Radcliffe, 22, has played Finch since the musical opened in previews in February. He has got positive reviews for his performance on the show. Now, he would quit the show after his contract is over.
