The Dark Knight Rises' stuntman escapes from accident

The stuntman should consider himself lucky, as he escaped a major accident during the shooting of The Dark Knight Rises. The incident occurred at Lagganlia Outdoor Activity Centre in Kingussie, Inverness-shire last evening.

According to reports, the stuntman lost his control of his parachute and crashed the roof of a holiday home during the shooting of the film. Immediately, a paramedic came to his rescue. Pavel Satny, an eyewitness says that the stunt performer was lucky to have escaped without getting big blows. When he saw him crashing, he felt like the performer could have died on spot.

"It was incredible. I'm amazed he survived. He was so, so lucky and could have easily died." The Aceshowbiz quoted the eyewitness as saying.

Christopher Nolan directorial The Dark Knight Rises is busy with its principal photography. Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway and Tom Hardy are playing the lead roles in the upcoming Hollywood film. The movie is expected to hit the screens July 2012.
