Fast Five beats Rio US Box Office

Hollywood movie Fast Five, which is fifth in the series of The Fast and the Furious, has topped the weekend US Box Office. The car-chasing film, which is being screened in 3,644 theatres, has grossed $14,400,000 in its opening weekend. It has pushed down the movie Rio, which had been ruling the Box Office chart for the past couple of weeks.

The 3D computer animated movie Rio has now landed in second spot with its collections reaching $14,400,000. The 20th Century Fox's movie has earned a world total of $366 million. Tyler Perry's Madea's Big Happy Family has occupied the third position in the chart with its earning of $10,050,000.
