Actress Kate Winslet is reportedly going to act in director Jason Reitman's forthcoming project The Labor Day. The Titanic beauty will play Adele, a lonely single mother, in the movie, which will be a big screen adaptation of Joyce Maynard's book. She is reportedly starring opposite actor Josh Brolin in it.
Movie The Labor Day is set in the early 80s and it opens with divorced, depressed Adele shopping with her son Henry. Suddenly, a bleeding man named Frank approaches Henry and seeks for a help. Over the next days, Henry learns some of life's most valuable lessons. Kate Winslet will portray Adele, while Josh Brolin is said to be reprising the role of Frank.
Kate Winslet is currently busy with the movies like Contagion and Carnage. Her latest movie The Labor Day is a relationship-based drama. She has already acted in the relationship-based drama Revolutionary Road. And The Labor Day would be her second film on the subject. She will be seen taking the role of Dr. Erin Mears in Contagion.
