Actor Katie Holmes stole the spotlight at the premiere of the movie Don't Be Afraid of the Dark, which marked the end of the 2011 Los Angeles Film Festival on Sunday. The Joey Potter of Dawson's Creek stunned the guest with her sexy backless black dress at the special screening of the movie.
The 32-year-old actress was sporting her little black dress with a pair of light brown high-heeled shoes. Katie Holmes was later joined by her young co-star Bailee Madison and producer Guillermo del Toro. Madison was wearing fresh floral pink dress, while Toro donned black tux on top of black shirt. Meaghan Jette Martin, Ron Perlman and Prince Frederic von Anhalt also made it to the premiere of Don't Be Afraid of the Dark.
However, Don't Be Afraid of the Dark is a remake of the 1973 ABC made-for-television horror film. It is about family members, who are living in a 19th-century mansion, which they are renovating, when young Sally unwittingly lets loose a race of ancient, dark-dwelling creatures who conspire to drag her down into the mysterious house's bottomless depths. It will hit the screens on August 26.
