Mad Men tops 63rd Emmy nominations list

AMC drama 'Mad Men' has topped the list of nominations for 63rd version of the Emmy Awards 2011 with 19 nods. The Emmys nominations were recently announced by the Academy of Television Art and Sciences. Last year's Comedy Series winner 'Modern Family' has also received 17 nominations.

Some newcomers were the HBO time piece drama 'Boardwalk Empire' scored 18 nominations. 'Game of Thrones' had 13 nominations. 'The Big Bang Theory' and 'Parks & Recreation' are the new entries to the comedy series. However, actress Jane Lynch is set to host this year's Emmy Awards show, which will be broadcast live on Sept 18.
