Nicole Kidman may replace Sofia Vergara in Paperboy

Actress Nicole Kidman is reportedly in negotiations with bosses of the movie Paperboy for the lead role. If she signs the deal, she would replace Sofia Vergara in the movie, which is being directed by Lee Daniels. And the Hollywood actress would star alongside Matthew McConaughey and Zac Efron.

The shooting of the movie Paperboy was scheduled to begin later this summer. But Tobey Maguire dropped out of the project last week causing the shoot to be pushed back. The delay in the shooting intruded on Sofia Vergara"s Modern Family shooting schedule, which prompted her to walk out of the film on Friday.

The Hollywood Reporters now claims that the producers of the film Paperboy are making quick attempts to fill the cast, which are lying vacant due to the sudden walk out of Tobey Maguire and Sofia Vergara. So they are holding talks with Nicole Kidman for the female lead in it.

However, Paperboy is a story of a reporter and his brother, who investigate the events surrounding a murder in order to exonerate a man on death row. Kidman will play a woman with a dark side who writes letters to men on death row. She brings the case to the attention of the reporter, developing a relationship with him.
