million
in
sneak
previews
at
324
theaters
across
the
United
States

America.
In
association
with
Twitter,
the
Paramount
Pictures
had
hosted
a
paid
preview
in
a
first
for
the
giant
social
media
site
on
Thursday.
According
to
the
Paramount
Pictures,
100,000
people
participated
in
the
Twitter
promotion
of
the
movie
Super
8,
which
met
its
goal
of
creating
a
vocal
group
of
proponents.
Talking
to
The
Hollywood
Reporter,
the
vice
chairman
of
the
Paramount,
Rob
Moore
said,
"It
was
a
great
result,
especially
since
there
was
no
consumer
marketing."
The
movie
Super
8,
which
is
produced
by
Steven
Spielberg,
has
been
made
with
a
small
budget
of
$50
million,
which
is
far
less
than
other
summer
films
of
the
studio.
The
film
has
moved
into
a
total
of
3,379
theaters
on
Thursday.
The
studio
has
been
predicting
an
opening
in
the
$25
million
to
$30
million
range.
