'Superman' producer Ilya Salkind was kidnapped and attacked: Daughter

New York, Feb 6 (ANI): 'Superman' producer Ilya Salkind's daughter believes her father, who went missing in Mexico, was kidnapped and attacked.

Anastasia told TMZ that Salkind is being treated in a Mexican hospital for wounds on his head after his mysterious disappearance, reports the New York Daily News.

Salkind's disappearance was reported on Thursday after his family and friends became worried when they hadn't heard from him since Sunday - and he failed to show up for a dentist's appointment the next day.

The 63-year-old producer was staying at his family's home in Tepozlan, near Mexico City.

He was reported missing to authorities by his lawyer, and his family set up a website requesting information as to his whereabouts.

On Thursday night, his relieved family reported Salkind had been found, but had no additional details. (ANI)
