Transformers: Dark of the Moon world premiere in Moscow

Countries like Brazil, Russia, India and China (BRIC) are emerging as the big markets for Hollywood films. So director Michael Bay has planned to promote his forthcoming movie Transformers: Dark of the Moon in BRIC countries. The world premiere of Transformers 3 opened the 33rd Moscow International Film Festival on Thursday night at the Pushkinsky Theater in Moscow, Russia.

Talking to the media during the premiere in Moscow, Michael Bay said, "Russia is an emerging market, it is becoming very important." The director added, "We're traveling to certain countries, BRIC countries - Brazil, Moscow, China - because they are big emerging markets."

Actors like Shia LaBeouf, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Josh Duhamel, Patrick Dempsey, John Malkovich walked MIFF's green carpet for the premiere. Paramount execs Brad Grey, Rob Moore, Adam Goodman, Randy Spendlove, Marc Evans, and Megan Colligan also attended the special screening of Transformers: Dark of the Moon.
