Brazilian Big Brother: Contestant Daniel rapes Amin on live TV

A housemate in the Brazilian version of Big Brother was raped on live TV after alcohol-fuelled house party. Police have confirmed that the male model Daniel Echaniz raped his inmate Monique Amin, while she was sleeping. They have already begun an investigation into the rape scandal and carried out a search of the studios in Rio de Janeiro, where the show is being shot.

According to report, contestant Daniel Echaniz, 31, forced himself on 23-year-old student Monique Amin, who had passed out drunk after a boozy party. He had sex with her under the covers and throughout the incident Amin seemed to be unconscious. But she said that she knew little of what had happened when she was asked about the incident in the diary room the next morning.

Police officers rushed to the house and interviewed Monique Amin for three hours soon after that viewers were shocked by the live rape scandal on Sunday morning. They have also collected the underwear of both contestants and trying to identify if there is any trace of sperm. Meanwhile, police have told TV channel Globo to either stop broadcasting the show or eliminate Echaniz.
