Academy Award winning actress Halle Berry will present the 84th
Academy Awards ceremony, along with Tom Hanks (Two-time Academy
Award-winning actor) and Tom Cruise (Three-time Academy
Award-nominated actor). The news was announced by telecast
producers Brian Grazer and Don Mischer.
Halle Berry bagged an Oscar in 2001 for her lead role in
Monster"s Ball. She was last seen in New Year"s
Eve. Berry will next be seen in Hollywood film Cloud
Atlas opposite Tom Hanks and Hugh Grant.
Tom Hanks, who will present the Oscar Awards along with Berry
and Cruise, is also a governor of the Academy. Hanks has won Oscars
in 1993 and 1994 consecutively for his lead performances in
Philadelphia and Forrest Gump.
Tom Cruise was nominated for his lead performances in Born
on the Fourth of July and Jerry Maguire. He also was
nominated for his supporting role in Magnolia. Cruise was recently
seen in Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol and will next
be seen in Rock of Ages.
