Hollywood actor Robert Pattinson is better known for his role the Twilight series. The 25-year-old star has also played a couple of dark roles in recent movies like Bel Ami and Cosmopolis. If we are to go by the latest reports, the hot hunk has landed a role in the much-hyped military thriller, Mission: Blacklist, based on Saddam Hussein's hunt.

According to reports, the movie Mission: Blacklist, which is written by Erik Jendersen and directed by Jean-Stephane Sauvaire, is all about the search for former Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein and an interrogator named Eric Maddox, who spearheaded his capture. Robert Pattinson is reportedly playing an important role in it. But it is not clear what role he will reprise in the flick.

However, Robert Pattinson is eagerly waiting for the release of David Cronenberg directed film Cosmopolis, which will have its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in France. His another movie The Twilight Saga's Breaking Dawn-Part II, which is last in the Twilight series, is slated to hit the screens on November 16.
