The Woman In Black continues to scare people in India

The Woman In Black which released in the UK and the USA in February respectively, has received stupendous response from fans all over. The movie, a remake of the 1989 movie with the same name, has been the talk of cinema goers all over the world, mainly because of the mature and brilliant acting of Daniel Radcliffe, of the Harry Potter fame.

This is Radcliffe"s first break post the Harry Potter series. With this movie, he has successfully shed the image of the favourite boy wizard and with an astonishing and realistic portrayal of the character of Arthur Kipps; Radcliffe has proved that he is capable of playing roles of a wide range.

The Woman In Black is the story of Arthur Kipps, who goes to a remote corner of the UK to sort out the papers of a recently deceased client. As he walks around the isolated and haunted house, he discovers the secrets of the old house and finds out that the local village is disturbed by the ghost of a scorned woman who is set on vengeance.

The movie has received rave reviews all over. According to official reports, the movie ranked number one at the box office and earned approximately 3.1 million pounds over the weekend. The Woman In Black has broken the opening records of movies like The First Twilight and Shutter Island in the UK Box Office. In the US box office, the movie earned around 10.3 Million Dollars in the first 3 days. After ten days, the movie reportedly earned around 35.5 Million Dollars in the US box Office.

The Woman In Black will be released in India on February 17, 2012 under the PVR banner. After the successful streak at the International Box Office, we are all waiting to see if the movie scares its way in the Indian audience"s heart to become a successful horror movie at the Indian Box Office.
