Ashton Kutcher reportedly got into a violent confrontation with a security guard at a country music festival held at Stagecoach in Indio. An eyewitness says that the fight started after the actor went on to talk to one of his fans. He was not aggressive, but it was the security personnel who was 'out of line'. Their fight ended with the actor walking out of the event.
Talking to TMZ, eyewitnesses said that Ashton Kutcher was in the VIP area near the stage to check out Nick, 13, and Dwight Yoakam, when a woman approached him to say, 'Hi' and shake his hand. The actor went to greet the woman, when security intervened and shoved the two of them and chaos ensued.
Ashton Kutcher got irritated by the security guard's behaviour. Both went at it, each violently shoving the other. The actor's friends had to restrain him. The guard demanded that Kutcher be ejected, but the celebrity left on his own. Eyewitnesses said that Kutcher was not the aggressor. They said the security guard was overzealous and out of line.
A little while before the fight, Ashton Kutcher had taken some photo of the little-known band Lone Bellow and tweeted them to his 14 million followers besides writing: "the next thing in country music." Justin Townes Earle, who performed at the event tweeted about the incident without mentioning Kutcher. "Just got a badge pulled on me 'cause I was correcting (a) f***ed situation. Way to go boys! That's earning that paycheck... Boooo!"
