Christian Bale started his acting career with Anastasia: The Mystery of Anna in 1986, he received greater commercial recognition with The Dark Knight trilogy. He got acclaimed for his performance as Bruce Wayne/Batman in Christopher Nolan's Batman Begins (2005), The Dark Knight (2008) and The Dark Knight Rises (2012). The hot hunk of Hollywood says that he is not playing the character in the forthcoming film Justice League.
Earlier, Christian Bale had hinted that he would not return as Batman unless Christopher Nolan opted to do a fourth installment of his Dark Knight series. The director has already decided against doing the next installment. Now, he has said that he is not playing Batman in Justice League. Rather he is looking forward to see what someone does with the character.
"I have no information, no knowledge about anything. I've literally not had a conversation with a living soul. I understand that they may be making a Justice League movie, that's it," contactmusic.com quoted Bale as saying. He added, "It's a torch that should be handed from one actor to another. So I enjoy looking forward to what somebody else will come up with."
Justice League is DC Comics' upcoming movie, which is an action, adventure, fantasy and sci-fi thriller. The film is about the world's greatest heroes, who are assembled to form the Justice League to combat a threat beyond each individual's capabilities. In September 2007, Warner Bros had roped in George Miller to direct it. The director had even finalised the cast for it, he could not begin filming as the cast went on to do other films.
