Los Angeles: Actress Mischa Barton is apparently furious with
the makers of Emma Watson latest Hollywood movie
The Bling Ring, which has been
inspired by the real-life notorious group of Calabasas teenage
burglars. The Marissa Cooper depicter on The OC has ranted
on Twitter about Sofia Coppola-directed flick, and
mentions her 2007 drunk driving shame, saying in the film, "Mischa
Barton got a DUI."
Hours after watching the film The Bling Ring, Mischa
Barton took to her Twitter account to rant about it. On June 26,
the actress tweeted, "Really #sofiacoppola #theblingring my name?
Shame on you." Then she added, "The whole idea of this movie,
granted, I haven't seen it, creeps me out #theblingring.
Mischa Barton did not stop there and she continued to hurl her
anger against the director and producers of The Bling Ring
on the next day too. The actress further wrote, "Why does this
movie sound so awful! Wish it didn't exist #theblingring."
The Bling Ring is all about a group of fame-obsessed
teenagers, who use the internet to track celebrities' whereabouts
in order to rob their homes. Many Hollywood celebs including Paris
Hilton have liked the film and sung praises for the drama, which
hit theatres on June 14 in the US. On June 16, Hilton tweeted, "I
loved The @BlingRingMovie! Sofia Coppola is such a talented
director. @EmWatson and the rest of the cast were amazing!
