to
Vogue
that
she
is
preparing
to
have
a
second
child
through
a
process
that
involves
freezing
her
eggs.
The
40-year-old
Modern
Family
star
said
she
has
to
be
careful
of
what
she
eats
and
that
she
is
already
taking
hormone
pills,
to
be
followed
by
injections.
The
Colombian
actress'
first
child
Manolo
Gonzalez
is
21.
Talking
to
Vogue
magazine,
Sofia
Vergara
said,
"They
want
to
get
as
many
good
eggs
as
they
can
because
usually
you
produce
them
but
they're
not
good.
They
have
to
be
perfect,
perfect,
perfect
ones." The
actress
added,
"My
boyfriend
(Nick
Loeb)
is
37,
younger
than
me,
never
had
kids.
So..."
Sofia
Vergara,
who
has
earned
$19
million
in
2012
to
become
the
highest-paid
woman
on
television,
proudly
displayed
the
engagement
ring
Loeb
gave
her
last
year.
The
actress
further
said,
"I
love
it,
because
it's
big
enough.
If
it
had
been
bigger,
I
couldn't
have
worn
it
every
day.
And
if
it
had
been
smaller,
I
wouldn't
have
liked
it."
However,
Sofia
Vergara
was
married
at
the
age
of
18
to
her
childhood
sweetheart
Joe
Gonzalez
and
she
gave
birth
to
their
son
in
September
1992.
The
couple
got
divorced
two
years
after
their
marriage.
She
was
diagnosed
with
thyroid
cancer
in
2000.
She
followed
the
doctors' treatment
and
made
a
full
recovery.
She
and
her
businessman
boyfriend
Nick
Loeb
were
engaged
on
July
